Oxford, MS- United States Senator Thad Cochran announced today that he has chosen State Representative Michael Janus to lead his South Mississippi field operations in his re-election campaign for a sixth term in the U.S. Senate.
“Representative Michael Janus is a highly respected member of the community and the Mississippi Legislature,” said Mindy Maxwell, Campaign Manager for Cochran. “Senator Cochran has great confidence in Michael’s ability to serve as a liaison to the campaign because he is articulate, approachable, and has a genuine heart for the needs and interests of this area of the state.”
“In word and deed, Senator Cochran has demonstrated his concern for the people of South Mississippi, and more specifically, the Gulf Coast,” Janus said. “Senator Cochran is prepared to run an energized campaign, and it is an honor to be on his team.”
